Toughest course in the East Bay IMO. Well guarded greens roll very true but are also quick, sloping and deceiving. OB and hazards on nearly every hole. 18 is just silly. 73.2/140 is underrated. If you play here regularly other courses start to seam pretty easy though.

Would travel: 10-20 Miles, Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I would play again

As a member and retired I play it almost everyday. It isn't long, but it's tough. What makes it tough is that it's green's are very well guarded and tough to putt. Wade Wallace

In less, than two years time, a new GM and Superintendent have made significant improvements to the facilities and golf course. Course condition is excellent.

Oakhurst is a challenging course. I'll have more fun the second time I play it since there were some blind holes. The greens are really fast which took me a few holes to get used to it. Even though it was close to 100 degrees, it was still worth it.

Would travel: 30-60 Miles, Not Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I would play again, Better than average course for the area, Ranks with the best in this price level, Bargain priced based on quality and competitive area pricing

Private course but has a 'Member for a Day' offering every couple of months! It fills up quickly. The course is one of the best around and has plenty of 'thinking' holes. The 18th is one of the toughest finishing holes around... especially in the summer when it's into the wind... after a challenging loop, in the sun/heat and a beer or 2.

Would travel: 30-60 Miles
